It was near my areas of interest, which were the neighborhoods of Barra Passeio de Escuna em Salvador and Graça. Not near the historical centre though. The hotel area is quiet and safe at night. The breakfast was good.
We spent very little time in the city itself, instead used it at the beginning and end of a trip to a beautiful but hard to get to area called Barra Colossal. We had two excellent dinners but didn’t get to see the old town.
